Sirte – Comprehensive maintenance and redevelopment works are currently underway at the Sirte Port Tourist Hotel under the supervision of the National Development Agency, as part of Libya Vision 2030. The project aims to revitalize tourism facilities and enhance the quality of hotel services, reinforcing Sirte’s position as an emerging tourist destination on Libya’s Mediterranean coast.

According to sources from the National Development Agency’s Media Office, the development program includes extensive infrastructure upgrades, full renovation of guest rooms and public areas, and modernization of both exterior façades and interior furnishings. The works are being carried out in line with contemporary hospitality standards that balance luxury, functionality, and comfort, while preserving the hotel’s architectural character and its prime coastal location overlooking the Gulf.

The sources confirmed that this project forms part of a broader national development strategy focused on strengthening the tourism sector and creating an attractive investment environment. By delivering high-quality services that meet the expectations of visitors and residents alike, the initiative contributes to enhancing Sirte’s role as a strategic tourism hub and reflects the government’s commitment to developing infrastructure and hospitality services as key drivers of economic growth and tourism development in Libya.
